at the conference.
Abstracts and full papers should be submitted by electronic mail. They
must show titles, authors' names and affiliations and must be in either
LaTeX (no special style file other than those provided in LaTeX format),
or HTML (Hyper Text Markup Language), Microsoft Word document, or ASCII
text form.
Submission for ATCM00 Only
Submission of Abstracts is now re-opened for ATCM 2000 only.
If you like to submit an abstract for consideration of presentation at
ATCM 2000, you can submit here on-line ONLY until October 1, 2000. If your
abstract is accepted for presentation, then the abstract will appear
in the Electronic Proceedings of ATCM 2000 only. No full paper submission will
be considered. (Date Posted: August 5, 2000)
Full Paper Submission Guideline
Full paper submission for review must be in either of the following formats:
- Microsoft Word,
- Postscript,
- PDF (Preferred),
- HTML (please make sure you send along any image file), or
- LaTeX/TeX given that you do not use any special packages (we only support basic styles that come with the LaTeX/TeX typesetting system)
Authors of full papers that are accepted for publications (presentation at the c
onference is expected) after a vigorous review process will be asked to
submit a camera-ready copy to the editors. Details are given next.
Full paper submission should be send to atcm@runet.edu.
Camera Ready & Electronic Proceedings Copies
For full papers that are accepted for publication in the Proceedings, two camera-ready copies of the manuscript must be submitted on A4 white paper using at least 600dpi laser printer plus a PDF soft copy of the final manuscript.
The hard copy must be postmarked no later than September 30, 2000 and send to
Sung-Chi Chu
Flat 9B, University Residence #12
The Chinese University of Hong Kong
Shatin, N.T., Hong Kong.
and the soft copy in PDF format must be received on the 30th of September at the electronic mailboxes at safaa@atcminc.com & atcm@runet.edu.
Each paper must follow these guidelines:
- Every paper must have an abstract.
- Affiliation information must be centered.
- The paper title must be in 18 pt. Author information must be in 14 pt; email address should be given if at all possible.
- Margins must be set based on A4 paper size (210 x 297 mm). Left and right margins must be set at 2 cm and top and bottom margins must be set at 3.2 cm. Any text printed outside of these margins will not appear in the final Proceedings, therefore we would not include any accepted articles that do not follow the margins guideline.
- Other than title, section headings, etc., the content text size must be 12 pt since a reduction by a factor of 0.833 will be effected during printing. Single spacing.
- Page numbers must be written using pencils at the back of each page. No page numbering should be included in the printed pages.
- Tables and Figures must be properly captioned and numbered. For Figures, the caption should appear immediately after the figure. For Tables, the caption should appear immediately before the table content.
- References must be cited properly in the text of the article.
- Paper length is limited to a maximum of 10 pages. Fee will be charged for any paper that exceeds the paper length limit.
