Abstract

MathCad is a unique and powerful way to work with equations, numbers, text and graphics. Unlike any other software, MathCad does math the same way you do. That's because it looks and works like a scratchpad and pencil. And instead of forcing you to use a programming-like syntax, MathCad lets you use the language of mathematics.

For educators, MathCad offers an interactive learning environment for developing lab and classroom materials that encourage students to explore and apply knowledge. Lecturers can modify or apply their own data to examples found in the product to demonstrate topics and solve real-world problems.

MathCad Plus 6.0 offers educators and students a professional educational tool for exploration, communication and collaboration.

This workshop introduces the various capabilities of MathCad Plus 6.0 in the following sections such as in Arithmetic Operations, Matrices, Solving Equations and in the field of Statistics.
