The Use of Technology in the Research of the History of Mathematics

Abstract

Hitherto, according to the complexity of the process of calculation, very restricted cases were treated in the investigation of the history. By examining various cases widely, there are possibilities to find out profound facts hidden behind the texts. The present author will exhibit some examples and show how the technology helps us in finding various important and interesting facts.
