Discrete mathematics have become more important in undergraduate mathematics
curriculum. Concepts like graphs and trees are now familiar to computer
programmers, biologists, as well as marketing researchers. Using
graph drawing programs in lecturing and laboratory can enhance the learning
of discrete mathematics by college students who are not strong in abstract
reasoning.
This is the report of my experience of using LINK, a WINDOW 95/NT executable
program, for introductory level graph theory.
