Abstract

This paper will demonstrate the power of SPSS(c) that enables researchers from other disciplines particularly those who does not have the mathematical skills to perform inferential statistics.

We shall describe the applications of SPSS(c) to the two different areas of research which were done with some consultations with the author: (1) the impact of the community-oriented policing system on the peace-process and security maintenance efforts of the Philippine National Police, and (2) a study on the effect of epidural analgesia on prolonged labor and operative delivery.
